Does LastCUE support Device Library and OneLibrary?

Updated October 9, 2026

LastCUE supports readable rekordbox OneLibrary exports for preview, backup, player compatibility checks, audio format conversion, Smart Cleanup, and Latin Alphabet Converter with the required language data. Corrupted library repair still requires Device Library, export.pdb. Supporting OneLibrary does not mean every operation can repair a damaged OneLibrary database.

Which database am I using

Device Library is the legacy rekordbox USB library built around PIONEER/rekordbox/export.pdb. LastCUE reads rekordbox OneLibrary from PIONEER/rekordbox/exportLibrary.db.

AlphaTheta describes OneLibrary and the earlier Device Library Plus exported by rekordbox as compatible names for the same library format. A USB may contain both Device Library and OneLibrary. See AlphaTheta's OneLibrary explanation for the official naming.

The selected library, actual source condition, connected target, and feature access still determine whether an operation can proceed. A feature reading a healthy library does not establish that it can recover a damaged one.

Can I restore a Full backup that contains OneLibrary

The current Full restore path can restore captured PIONEER data containing Device Library, OneLibrary, or both. Restoring saved files is different from repairing database corruption. A Full backup made after a OneLibrary database was damaged can preserve that damaged database; restoring it does not rebuild it.

Check the selected backup version and destination before confirming. Music restored from Full comes from that backup's captured files. Quick and Analysis do not contain music.

Why do the playlists look different

Two libraries on the same USB can contain different playlists or histories. A player reading one library can therefore show different content from a player reading the other.

Compare both libraries before changing either. Converting Device Library into OneLibrary is a separate operation in rekordbox and can overwrite an existing OneLibrary. Follow the current rekordbox OneLibrary FAQ when using that command.

Which library should I select in LastCUE

Select the library that matches the player and operation you need. For metadata cleanup or romanization, choose both libraries if you intend to apply supported changes to both. Selecting one library does not mean the other was updated.
